The purpose of our visit to New Mexico was the annual convention and exhibition in Albuquerque of the Coloured Pencil Society of America - of which I'm a member.  We travelled to Albuqerque via Hatch (home of the hot chilli) and Truth and Consequences.  While there we also paid a visit to Santa Fe and the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum.  On the return leg we travelled via the legendary Route 66.
